Cinderdevella : Prologue Many years ago in little village in the French countryside, there lived a kind and goodly lord, Domo the Duke of Clements. The duke was loved and respected throughout the land for his kindness, generosity and wisdom. The duke also had a very beautiful wife, whom he loved very much and who loved him. She was a talented spirited woman who had been educated in the arts and sciences with her brothers. They were very happy together for they had everything their hearts desired, health, wealth, and love.
